The Association has developed a unique (and the first of its kind) standard “Corporate Security Strategic Planning Platform”, which can be used by any company:

  • for shareholders and owners, for board of directors, for CEO (company head) and management team (top managers)
  • as part of strategic sessions
  • and for writing individual sections (slots) of a global (corporate) strategy
  • as well as for the development of functional strategies / plans for departments of the (economic) security service, internal audit, audit commissions, compliance, as well as risk managers, ISO / QMS departments.

In addition, the Platform will help develop individual initiatives: anti-corruption plans, strategies for managing overdue receivables, etc.

Board of Directors / Supervisory Boarf for business security and risk management!

Strategic planning itself is still a challenge for most companies. Perhaps one of the tools for success can be the practice of corporate governance - the board of directors. My personal experience has shown that integrating corporate security into the agenda of this strategic structure can provide significant protection of business sustainability.
  • Reasons to invite a corporate security & GRC expert to the Board of Directors

    strategic development, i.e. when the company has appropriate structures, divisions and experts, but there is no clear holistic strategy and development plans, when the CEO and/or shareholders cannot formulate their vision of business security and expectations from this practice;
    strengthening of expertise, i.e. when a company requires a special level of competencies, but hiring appropriate employees in departments does not seem appropriate;
    independent competent opinion, i.e. when it is important for shareholders and/or CEO to have an alternative and independent point of view both on strategic directions and on specific cases and issues.
  • Functions and tasks of an independent director as a GRC provider

    strategic level:
    - development and support of a business security & GRC strategy and evaluation of success;
    - interaction with members of the board of directors.
    management level:
    - selection of a team, assessment and development of their competencies, support of design functional plans;
    - assessment of the HR/personnel effectiveness;
    - support for changes in business processes and tools.
    operational level - participation in making important strategic and operational decisions, including through relevant GRC committees.
